Ms. Young also has drafted numerous employee handbooks and other employment materials for clients and has presented training for clients’ supervisory and non-supervisory personnel on such topics as sexual harassment, family and medical leaves, and general employment law issues. Prior to forming BPDZ&Y, Ms. Young practiced in the Employment Law Department of the international law firm of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP, working exclusively in the representation of employers in a broad range of legal matters.

For the sixth consecutive year, Ms. Young recently was named a California Super Lawyer in the field of employment litigation, a designation awarded to the top 5% of California attorneys based on a survey of all California lawyers.
