NIMA SHIVAYI specializes in the representation and counseling of employers in all aspects of employment law, including wrongful termination, employment discrimination, wage and hour issues, harassment litigation and training, unfair competition, personnel policies, workplace investigations, and employee discipline and discharge. He also has developed substantial experience in defending discrimination and wage and hour class actions. Mr. Shivayi has represented numerous employers in employment discrimination and harassment lawsuits. He also has represented national restaurant chains, large retailers, and limousine transportation companies in wage and hour class action suits. Prior to joining BPDZ&Y, Mr. Shivayi was associated with a large national law firm.
Mr. Shivayi received his B.A. degrees in Political Science and Psychology from the University of California, Irvine in 1997. He received his J.D. degree from the University of California, Hastings College of Law in 2001. |
